Asian support group extends assistance for disabled people in Huaphan

VIENTIANE (Vientiane Times/ANN) – Asian Development with Disabled Persons (ADDP) has pledged to continue supporting people living with disabilities by creating more job opportunities for them.

ADDP signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare in support of the second phase of a project on Friday.

The project, titled “The Supported Vocational Training Centre for Persons with Disabilities”, aims to help disabled people learn skills such as landscape gardening and vegetable cultivation to help them live as independently as possible.
